The 3rd Annual Terrain Northwest Art Exhibit is set to swallow your First Friday whole this weekend.

The event brings together 60-plus area artists presenting original works along with upward of seven live music acts, headlined by James Pants, who recently released a new EP, "The New Tropical," on Stones Throw Records.

 

Also on the bill, is the side project of Please Draw In Me, Sueno Del Verde; former Space Age Fur members as The Soul and The Machine, and more. See the full lineup below.

Terrain '10 takes place at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 1, at the Music City Building, 1011 W. First Ave. The event is free to all ages.

 

The Terrain train continues with the official Wrap Up Party with Portland Bluegrass duo Hillstomp and punk-bluesers Whiskey Dick Mountain on Saturday a 9 p.m. at Mootsy's, 406 W. Sprague Ave. Cost: $5 at the door, 21 and older only.
