Jucifer -This two-piece sludge metal band features the half-hallowed vocals of Gazelle Amber Valentine and the ear piercing production of her husband, Edgar Livengood. Together their explosive sound has been rocking clubs all over the country. Bring you ear plugs, Jucifer returns with support from The Toy Garden and Belt of Vapor at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, at The Seaside, 230 W. Riverside Ave. Cost: $5, 21 and older only.
Christmas - It's a good sign when an Olympia-based surf-rock band has an obscure name and song featuring the legendary Calvin Johnson. Even better when it's a Platform Presents gig going down at The Baby Bar. Jesi B. and the All Rites - They've rocked all month long, and the word is getting around about the party on stage whenever Jesi B. and The All Rites come around. Check out Jesi B's sultry vocals and JP's smokin' guitar work when Jesi B. and the All Rites funk it up one last time for their Som Show Presents: Residency at The Seaside, tonight, August 25, at The Seaside, 230 W.
