Sasquatch! Music Festival - Nearly 100 bands representing every angle of the misnomer that is indie rock -- psychedelic dancetronica, revamped 1950s doo-wop R&B and soul, UK trip-hop, born again hip-hop-folk, and prog-disco. And that's just scraping the surface on the various styles of music happening at Sasquatch! Music Festival this holiday weekend, Saturday, May 26 through Sunday, May 28,  at The Gorge Amphitheatre. Anchoring the beastival are heavy hitters Massive Attack, Ween, My Morning Jacket and Vampire Weekend. Cost: Sold out.

Volume - The Inlander gives a boost to local music with its Volume Festival, featuring various styles of punk, hip-hop, experimental, and folk with Faus, Ze Krau, Jaeda, Space Opera 77 and Matthew Winters, plus performances by Koreshakti Tribal Fusion, Pasties and Paddles and the P-JAMMERS Marching Band, at 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, at The Knitting Factory Concert House, 919 W. Sprague Ave. Cost: Free.

Residency with Mon Cheri - Spokane indie-jazz pop favorite Mon Cheri is finishing up its monthlong residency at The Seaside, so expect a cut-loose show from MC at 9 p.m. tonight, May 26, at The Seaside, formerly The B-Side, 230 W. Riverside Ave. Cost: $3, 21 and older only.

Rocket Music - As the weather continues to heat up so, too, does the terrace at Rocket Market. Saturday, May 29, the Blue Ribbon Tea Company appear on the patio, and Rocketeer favorite Sam Endress is the man on Tuesday, June 1. All shows start at 7 p.m., and are powered by The Som Show. Cost: Free. 

Dark Tranquillity - Swedish death metal band and pioneers from the Gothenburg scene, Dark Tranquility headlines an all-ages show with support from Threat Signal, Mutiny Within and Odyssy at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, at The Seaside, 230 W. Riverside Ave. Cost: $15.
